Caterpillar puppet

This is a fun organery party craft that the kids can make inside or outdoors at your event. You'll need the following party provide items to generate a fun Caterpillar puppet; Cotton Sock, Yarn, Buttons, Pom-poms, Pipe Cleaners, Ribbon, Glue, Markers. You'll need as many socks as there are guests at your party. It's okay to use your old socks, just make sure they are clean!

Start your organery party caterpillar by gluing a collection of pom-poms (or cotton balls), buttons, yarn, and/or ribbon onto the sock. These fun accents and items will work to make a colorful caterpillar. Cut a pipe cleaner in half and push both of them through the toe of the sock to make antennae. You can push a line of pipe cleaners along the side of the sock to generate a caterpillar with fuzzy hairs. Next use a mark to generate the eyes and a mouth of the cute organery party caterpillar. The caterpillar puppet is now complete. You can have the kids and guests wear the sock on their hands to make a puppet show for the organery party.

After the party ends you can turn your Caterpillar puppet into a caterpillar stuffie. Have an adult buy some polyester stuffing or even cut up some more old socks. Then stuff the organery caterpillar full with them. Next, have an adult carefully sew the open end of the caterpillar sock shut to generate a homemade organery party stuffed animal. Be sure to let your guests know they can turn their puppets into stuffies.
